Carmen Gonzalo’s love of music began at a very young age. However, it was her time at the California State Summer School for the Arts (where she received The Herb Alpert Scholarship) that catapulted her to attend The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, New York, where she later graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, May 2016. During her time in New York, she performed as a Band Leader at a variety of iconic venues throughout Manhattan. She also recently performed at The International Jazz Festival in Berne, Switzerland, Spring 2016.  Her versatility at many genres has allowed her to be a featured singer from private parties to large corporate events.  Despite her busy schedule, the importance of giving back has been ingrained in Carmen her entire life. She has lent both her time and her voice to such causes as Relay for Life, Festival of Trees (an annual fundraiser for the homeless), as well as numerous church and military events.  Carmen has sung our National Anthem for The San Francisco 49ers (where she was the winner of The Golden Voice Contest, 2015), for the Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals at Sonoma Raceway, and for our Champion Golden State Warriors.
